Reflection 14.1 and EXTRA! X-treme 9.3
If you’re still planning your Windows migration, or aren’t yet ready to jump to a next-generation operating system, Reflection 14.1 and EXTRA! X-treme 9.3 will help you meet all your host access needs. Both emulators are designed for Windows XP but work well on Windows 8 and Windows 7, so that you get the user experience and capabilities that work best—and no extra features that don’t.
Both emulators:
- Are designed for Windows XP, but compatible with Windows 8 and Windows 7.
- Are great solutions for traditional Citrix environments due to their ability to scale.
- Offer support for legacy connectivity types, like coax, SDLC, or DLC.
Reflection 14.1 vs. EXTRA! X-treme 9.3
Wondering whether to evaluate Reflection 14.1 or EXTRA! X-treme 9.3? Here are a few tips:
- Reflection 14.1 is the best product to use if you currently leverage the Reflection 14.1 ActiveX control to embed a session object in a Windows form to create a custom application.
- If you use a UNIX, VT, or HP system, Reflection 14.1 is likely the best choice.
- If your host platform is an IBM mainframe, EXTRA! is likely the best choice.
- If you have existing EXTRA! users who like the user experience it provides, EXTRA! is the best choice.
