Kathleen Owens oversees day-to-day operations for the business unit. Her role comprises product development, management, and marketing, as well as technical support, sales, and sales operations. She is responsible for the overall goals, strategies, and decision making that impact business-unit financial results, employee morale, and customer satisfaction. Kathleen has more than 15 years of direct service and leadership in sales, team management, end-to-end processes, and organization.
Prior to assuming this role, she was vice president of sales for North America, in charge of sales success and sales teams including the direct sales force, field technical resources, and sales-channel partner relationships. Having started her Attachmate career in regional and international sales, Kathleen also served as territory manager and sales director. She came to Attachmate with experience in the nonprofit sector and was transportation coordinator at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.
Kathleen holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame.
