Attachmate Appoints Norman Rohde as Vice President, EMEA Sales

Seattle – June 16, 2011 – Leading enterprise software supplier Attachmate has announced the appointment of Norman Rohde as Vice President of Sales for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Attachmate specializes in software solutions for terminal emulation, legacy modernization, managed file transfer, and enterprise fraud management.

The Attachmate business unit, together with the NetIQ, SUSE, and Novell business units, fall under a recently formed holding organization called The Attachmate Group, Inc. Prior to this business unit position, Mr. Rohde served as General Manager EMEA as well as Director Sales and Marketing, Central and Eastern Europe for Attachmate. He has also held various management positions at Bull, Intel, Lucent Technologies, and Novell. He holds a master’s degree in business administration.
