NetWizard features integrated functionality for desktop software and hardware inventory, software distribution and installation, usage metering, license administration, remote control, and policy management. Compatibility with Windows XP lets organizations take full advantage of the operating system’s functionality. Microsoft Active Directory® support allows NetWizard Professional to detect whether a network client (NetWizard Agent) is already part of an Active Directory organizational structure, and automatically maps and integrates this existing structure onto the NetWizard management interface. NetWizard supports the Microsoft Management Console; from a centralized interface, administrators can launch and edit data presented by the console’s snap-in utilities.
