Attunity and Attachmate Ink OEM Agreement To Provide Comprehensive Host Access Solutions

WAKEFIELD, Mass. and BELLEVUE, Wash. — Nov. 18, 2003 — Attunity Ltd. (NASDAQ: ATTU), a leading provider of standards-based integration middleware for accessing mainframe, enterprise data sources, and legacy applications, and Attachmate Corporation, delivering more than 20 years of innovation in the legacy access and integration space, have announced the signing of an OEM agreement to market a comprehensive set of data access solutions.

Both Attunity™ and Attachmate® solutions reduce the complexity of legacy integration, using standards-based interfaces and easy-to-use development tools for rapid development. Under the OEM agreement, Attachmate will offer Attunity's native adapter solutions that unlock legacy data sources for use in new IT initiatives including business intelligence, rapid application development, enterprise portals, application and business integration, and Web services.

Attunity Connect provides standards-based integration middleware for accessing mainframe, enterprise data sources and legacy applications. The pre-built adapter library includes native support for all common enterprise data sources, transaction systems and legacy applications. Using modern distributed architecture, the Attunity adapters complement the broad range of Attachmate host access and integration solutions for legacy host systems.

"This is an ideal partnership, especially from our customer standpoint, because Attunity's expertise in the data access arena is unparalleled and Attachmate is the long-time leader in host access solutions," said Markus Nitschke, Attachmate vice president of marketing and product management. "We are very pleased to build this relationship and add these best-of-breed solutions to Attachmate's comprehensive array of host access products. Our customers will benefit significantly from the full range of solutions that both companies bring to the market."

With the expanded range of connectivity provided under this OEM agreement, Attachmate is in a unique position to meet the growing demands of large enterprise customers," said Dan Potter, vice president of marketing at Attunity.
