Designed for airline and airport operations customers, Attachmate TCP/IP Socket Server (ATSS) is a Java application designed to provide the Unisys Open Message Switching Engine (OMSE) with a mechanism for accessing Unisys OS 2200-based applications, via the UTS INT-1 protocol. ATSS is currently in use by major international air carriers.
Unisys OMSE is an application that translates legacy application protocols to current TCP/IP protocol standard MATIP. Legacy systems include both Unisys and IBM Systems for reservations and departure control, global distribution systems (GDS), and airport operations.
No modifications to OMSE
OMSE communicates with ATSS using TCP which allows flexibility and resilience as ATSS is hosted and is platform independent. OMSE has built-in support for ATSS and passes pertinent configuration parameters from the OMSE configuration database to ATSS to automatically establish UTS / P1024C / INT1 connections to the Unisys host.
Attachmate TCP/IP Socket Server:
- Provides Unisys OMSE with Unisys OS 2200 access via Unisys INT-1 Protocol
- No modifications to OMSE required
