  1. Maximize IT Flexibility
As companies merge and expand, they face an inevitable dilemma: how to maintain acceptable levels of productivity for multiple, far-flung offices while holding costs to the ground. Replicating server resources in each office is time-consuming and expensive. So is managing diverse desktops, security, and remote user support.

With our next-generation features, IT groups no longer have to grapple with geographical distance and technical diversity. Instead, they gain the flexibility they need for:
      • Resource consolidation. Thanks to remote and low-bandwidth optimizations, you can consolidate server resources in one data center—giving users worldwide high-performance access to graphical X applications.

      • Future-proof expansion. With support for Windows XP, Vista, and Linux desktops, you have the essential support you need—now and in the future.

      • Protection of corporate assets. Integrated SSH, lost-session recovery, and remote-support ensure that your data is secure and your users are supported.
  2. Capitalize on Core Assets
In general, you can execute new projects faster if you leverage existing core assets. But for remote offices accessing X applications, volatile Internet traffic often makes that impossible. Not anymore. Today, our new features provide:
      • Anywhere, anytime access. You can make your core assets available to new, diverse users around the globe—without jeopardizing performance. Multiplatform support broadens the accessibility of your UNIX-based applications.

      • Easy web access. Providing access to X applications from the corporate intranet saves user time and streamlines workflow.

      • Remote support. Advanced session sharing tools allow IT staff to view problems exactly as users see them, in real time.
  3. Improve User Productivity
Our next-generation Reflection X features bolster user productivity by enabling:
      • User mobility. From the office, from the road, from home, users can experience the rich visual display and reliable performance they need to get their jobs done.

      • Project continuity. With suspend-and-resume session capabilities, users can suspend a session from a Linux desktop at end of day, and then resume the session from a laptop that evening.

      • Collaborative freedom. Session sharing allows colleagues in offices around the world to concurrently see the same X session and share ideas in real time.

See for Yourself
