Medical Reimbursements of America automates processes, streamlines information gathering A health-care receivables company, Medical Reimbursements of America essentially acts as a third-party administrator for hospital billing offices. To access permitted segments of patient databases, MRA agents would remotely log on to their client hospitals' accounting systems and manually search for relevant transaction activity. They would then enter the resulting data into the MRA case-management system for processing. These laborious procedures meant it could take more than two days to process a single hospital's account information. MRA needed a solution to integrate the data stored on hospitals' patient account systems with their accounts receivable information and procedures. That would enable them to automate key tasks.
