According to a recent study by Attachmate, host systems and terminal emulation are still indispensable for most European companies. The results of the survey, titled The Changing IT Landscape, suggest that old and new technologies will have to coexist. In this case, new technology will not necessarily displace old technology that has been an IT staple for decades.
