Security Proxy: Prerequisites and System Requirements

Before installing the Security Proxy Add-On, verify that:

  • Management and Security Server (the Administrative Server) is installed.

  • The Security Proxy activation file is available.

    NOTE:The Security Proxy must be the same <major>.<minor>.<update> version as Management and Security Server. For example, when you upgrade Management and Security Server to version 12.4 SP1 update 4 be sure to upgrade the Security Proxy to version 12.4 SP1 update 4.

  • The server is running JRE 8 or later (installed by the automated installer).

  • The Performance and Scaling Requirements are addressed.
