Management and Security Server (MSS) version 12.5.5 released with Reflection ZFE 2.3.5.

What’s New

Introduced in 12.5.5:

  • Metering is highy available

    The metering server can be installed on multiple machines and clustered to provide high availability. The clustering and replication of metering license data is backed by a database. A minimum of three MSS servers is required for Replication—a master and at least two slaves.

  • Updated Tomcat to 9.0.17

  • Metering is automatically installed with Management and Security Server. (12.5.4)

  • Redesigned Terminal ID Manager Console. (12.5.3)

  • Removed manual installation files. Use automated installers for 64-bit Linux, UNIX, or Windows systems. (12.5.3)

  • Management and Security Server is installed using the automated installer for 64-bit systems on Linux, UNIX, or Windows. If you cannot use an automated installer, contact Support. (12.5.3)

  • Improved Metering UI performance. (12.5.2)

  • Added the ability to configure multiple DCAS servers for use with Automated Sign-on for Mainframe. (12.5.1)

  • Updated Open JDK to Azul Zulu 8u181 (12.5.1)

Reminders

  • The Metering Server and the Terminal ID Manager are no longer available as a deployable war files that can live on WebSphere or external Tomcat. See the Installation Guide for details.

  • Management and Security Server requires 3.40 GHz (4 cores) and 8 GB of RAM to run efficiently. While previous versions may have run successfully on less, we recommend you allot 8 GB of RAM for a successful installation.
