8.4 Step 3: Configure Terminal ID Manager.

Before you can deploy terminal sessions that use a Terminal ID Manager connection ID, the Terminal ID Manager must be set up.

After installation, first configure the Terminal ID Manager settings in the Administrative Console, Then, use the Terminal ID Manager Console to configure server settings and monitor terminal IDs.

To configure the Terminal ID Manager:

  1. In Administrative Console, go to Configure Settings - Terminal ID Manager.

    Check Enable Terminal ID Manager, and enter the required information.

  2. Click the Server URL to open the Terminal ID Manager Console.

    (Or, from the Start menu, click Terminal ID Management Administration.)

  3. Use the Terminal ID Manager Console to configure

    • Server Settings

    • Monitor IDs

Once configured, you can assign sessions that connect using Terminal ID Manager.
