File Types Tab (Options Dialog Box)

Use this tab to configure Smart file transfer. When Smart file transfer is enabled, any file of a defined file type is transferred using the transfer method specified for that file type. To enable Smart file transfer, go to Tools >Transfer Method > Smart.

The options are:

Smart file transfer types

Lists all file types that have been assigned a transfer method.

New

Open the Add Smart File Type dialog box.

Delete

Remove the currently selected file type from the list.

Change

Edit the currently selected file type.

Transfer method for undefined file types

Specify a default for files types that have no associated transfer method.

If Ask User is specified, you are prompted to specify a transfer method when you transfer a file with that extension. At that time you can select a specific transfer method or choose Always ask user.
