What’s New

The following upgrade to your Micro Focus product(s) is now available:

  • Databridge Host 6.6

  • Databridge Client 6.6

  • Databridge Enterprise Server 6.6

  • Databridge DMSII Client 6.6

  • Databridge Twin 6.6

What’s New in the Databridge 6.6 Release:

  • Support for MCP and DMSII SSR level 60.0 (version 19)

  • Support for Windows Server 2019

  • Support for SQL Server 2017

  • Support for Oracle 18c for Windows, AIX, Linux and Solaris Clients

Databridge Host

  • Audit files are now read without using DBPlus or DMAuditLib.

  • Added DBTwin support for reformatted (redacted) data items.

  • Improved the Host software, Hot Fixes, and Service Packs installation process to be the same technique as installing a base release.

IMPORTANT:DBTanker is no longer supported in Databridge 6.6.

Databridge Client

  • Developed the Databridge Kafka (big data) Client.

  • Added support for data masking with SQL Server 2016 or 2017.

  • Developed quicker clones using the BCP API for the SQL Server Client.

  • Added support for multi-threaded extracts for the SQL Server and Oracle Clients.

  • Added support for multi-threaded extracts and updates for the Flat File Client.

  • Added the ability to control the order in which data sets get extracted.

  • The -n option was added to the reorg command to facilitate the handling of DMSII reorganizations in a multi-sourced database environment.
