Reflection ZFE terminal emulation uses WebSocket technology for communication between a web browser and the Reflection ZFE session server. WebSocket is a feature of the HTML5 specification, and is supported by current releases of all widely available web browser software. If your organization has modified router or network configurations to disable WebSocket communications on your network, you cannot use Reflection ZFE terminal sessions.
Some anti-virus software might prevent WebSocket connections, especially when ports 80 or 8080 are used. If you think your anti-virus software may be preventing WebSockets, first try a different port. For troubleshooting, see http://websocketstest.com.
